Rated 1 out of 5 by chris29 from buyer beware: we’ve had this unit for two years now, look at other brands, the SUDS error happens all the time and it’s brutal. My wife regularly cleans the filter and runs the machine through a cleaning cycle, but the error is a bad actor and keeps coming back. The electrical repair guy looked at it and said it was common in LG cars, so either the control board or the pump or both needed to be replaced. Just brutal, keeping it for 2 years for over $1200 is a huge hit. Stay away from LG machines and don’t make the same mistake we did. Too bad we will have to buy a new washer in 2 years.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Lexicorb My clothes smell horrible!!! I am very disappointed with this washer. Almost loaded and every time I open the door my clothes smell horrible! Sometimes I have to wash it 2 or 3 times to get rid of the smell! And I usually have to add borax. I have never had this problem with other washing machines. I clean my tub regularly with the right products and don’t overdo it. Let’s say the load will be an hour, sometimes it will sit for 10 minutes at the 10 minute mark, the same with other numbers, so it will be longer. This is complete nonsense. I hate this car and it was too expensive!!
Rated 3 out of 5 by Bert from Hidden Problems I bought this stacker in December and found out during delivery that it has two outlets (240 volt and 120 volt) so I need two outlets. However, the small bathroom in my house only has one 240-volt outlet, which my previous stack of appliances used for both the washer and dryer. I’m waiting for an electrician to come and do the necessary wiring to add a second outlet before I can use the car. The car might be great; I only rated it 3 stars because I need to tell people that they need two points before they buy. It was a big problem for me.
Rated 2 out of 5 by RG1965 Chemical smell and poor cold water usage I bought this washer 2 months ago and have loaded it twenty times. The washer still has a chemical smell. I expected it to be new and the smell would fade over time. Another problem is that it only does the cold water wash cycle. Regardless of the settings, when I choose to wash at tap water temperature, the clothes are hot when they come out of the washing machine. I tried the cold water setting. This wash took 2 hours and 15 minutes and the clothes were warm at the end of the cycle.

No Inner Light rated AYAMIN 3 out of 5! I purchased this unit and matching dryer to replace a 14 year old LG. Both the old units had interior lights, the new ones don’t. This is not mentioned in the technical specifications. My older units had this feature so I thought it was a given. My bathroom isn’t very bright and I now have to use a flashlight to see the inside of the unit. Had I known this, I would have chosen a different model or brand. In terms of washing performance, it works like before. I see no progress. Time will tell if it smells old fashioned.

It’s quiet, easy to use, and the spin cycle cut my drying time to less than half (using my old dryer). Great product so far. Oh, and I bought a stand for easy access. The reason I got a front loader is that I’m 4’10” and all top loaders are deep and unreachable. It’s easier to access.

As long as the units are the same brand and width, it should work without issue. We replaced our washer last year and it worked great with our 12 year old dryer. You may need to purchase a kit for the new WM. You can check with HD Assistant to confirm.
