When we bought our RV, my non-negotiable item was a laundry hookup. Mom wasn’t keen on the idea of having to do laundry, and luckily we found a facility that already had a washer and dryer installed!
As you may also know, we refurbish every square inch of this thing. So of course I had to get the laundry cupboard out too! You can see the above in this video:
So How Is It?
I wanted to add some interest to the inside of the doors as they are open quite often while the machine is running. I came across these peel and stick tiles at the Target Dollar Spot one day and knew they were IT! It took maybe 5 minutes to install them and they look great!
Our washer/dryer is probably one of my favorite things ever. I have a bad habit of forgetting to move laundry to the dryer, resulting in acidic laundry, re-washing and ultimately wasting detergent, water and electricity. But this bad boy has changed his life! Just add the laundry, select the washing program and drying time and press start! (I’ve posted a video review below)
We use Norwex powder detergent (buy some HERE) because it’s easy on our minds and better on our skin. I picked up this container and this container from Target and they are perfect. Plastic so they don’t break and are lightweight, but they hold a whole bag of detergent and my wash booster!
We also often throw these wool dryer balls in the dryer cycle because they don’t leave a residue like sheets do. Much safer for the machine and the drilling rig itself!
