Research has shown me that there are also some good ones that can be cleaned. But for mopping to be effective you need a cleaning station and prices can easily exceed 1000 euros. Too expensive for my taste because electricity, and heating is going crazy, go to a bigger place and the economy goes to where it is now.
Then I saw new vacuums for around 300 to 400 euros without the mopping station but decided: I don’t need the fancy stuff and I’m happy with my current one. So I got on eBay Kleinanzeigen (German Craigslist) and got one for 90 euros. It is in better condition than mine and less usage time.

To install Valetudo on my particular vacuum you need to do a factory reset. Otherwise, the installation process will fail as follows:

For some reason, I had to try the factory reset several times. I’ve tried different methods I’ve found online and honestly, I don’t really know which one really works.
First, we need to get the firmware file. It can be built on the DustBuilder website where I used these settings:

The map is updated very quickly. Faster than the Xiaomi app! But in my opinion, it’s not very useful and makes the Home Assistant interface a bit lazy. It’s still cool! So I set it up and moved it to a view I never use ?
