I do not think so. I can’t remember where I got it from, but the Aqara vibration sensors are compatible with HomeKit. They appear as motion sensors, but that’s enough.

The bridge itself is well equipped with lights and sirens. So you can use it for many things, like a night light or a hub for an alarm system. The speaker can also be used by Google or Amazon Alexa. I wish it supported Airplay 2. I mostly use it as a bridge.
It can be added to HomeKit with a bridge integration point. It uses Zigbee to communicate with its sensors. When you add a sensor, it shows up in HomeKit, so everything is easy.
Ideally, you place the sensor in the desired location and pair it. I prefer to have the sensor near the hub, pair it and then place the sensor where you want it.
After pairing with the hub, the device will appear in the Aqara app. I found that the sensitivity needed to be set high to be useful for this purpose. This tool is used as “Advanced Settings”. Personally, I think the selection line, which can be used to change only one option, is quite silly. One step too many. However, it was set and forgotten.

Water leak detectors are easier to install. Literally just pair it and place it wherever you want.
One of the things I like about the Aqara app is how good the signal is. This really helps with troubleshooting.

When you select a device in HomeKit, the light and alarm system will immediately appear. In this case, there are 7 accessories, including a security system, water sensors and vibration sensors, which appear as a motion system.

The goal of automation here is to notify you when your washer and/or dryer cycles are complete.
The problem with HomeKit is that you get notified when something positive happens, not negative. This way, motion sensors will alert you when motion is detected. HomeKit doesn’t notify you when it stops detecting motion. It can move in two or more states.
This can be done using shortcuts. Shortcuts are personal though, and a housekeeping notice is needed here.
Why doesn’t Apple in my life allow me to send a notification when a sale hits me. It seems clear to me that this should be a skill.

Fortunately, setting up and installing the Messenger plugin seems pretty easy. I chose the email function.
There are some limitations with the email option. The customer is defined at the system level. You can specify a comma-separated list, even if the UI shows it as false. It works. This means that you cannot specify different recipients for different messages.

Finally, I introduced the 3 switches created in the diagram above. The first one is called “Messenger”. If this is off, no message will be sent. The other 2 are a tumble dryer and a washing machine. Usually these appear as a single tile. This also means that all Messenger switches must be in the same room and cannot actually connect to the desired room(s).
