Best Green Paint For Home Office – With many people working remotely or on hybrid schedules, the home office has become an important room in the home. Work areas are thoughtfully created from living rooms, kitchen corners, attics, basements, spare rooms, closets and garages. Regardless of size or location, a lot of time is spent in this room every day. Productivity is the #1 consideration for a successful workplace, and color plays a role in achieving it.

When choosing a color for your home office, consider the type of activities that take place there. What should the room be like to do your best work? Do you need to sit quietly and concentrate, or do you take calls and join video conferences? Do you need to move around the room or are desks available to spread out projects? Is this your personal workspace or do you share this area with other family members?

Ultimately, your home office can be professional but still feel personal. Showcase family photos, favorite artwork and book collections and make sure your favorite coffee cup is always nearby! For some reason paint, especially colored paint, has always intimidated me. It seems like some people throw a new color on the wall every year, but I know that once that’s done, it probably won’t change. That’s why when I decided to paint my son’s room olive green, I wanted to find the perfect olive green color.

If you’re considering painting a room olive green, I’d like to share some of the shades and colors I’ve tried, which ones are my favorites, and how to use olive green paint colors in your home. I would like to answer your questions.

When I first started considering olive green shades, I thought I wanted something deep and moody. Lately I’ve been really drawn to bold, dark rooms and I thought this would be perfect for my son’s room renovation.

After looking at what seemed like a million options online and in stores, I decided on 3 to try first. Paint is very interesting – it can look very different depending on where it is. I also think it looks very different on paper swatches than actually painted on the wall, so I really wanted to test the paint on walls.

I was sure one of these three would make the cut, but as soon as I mounted them on the wall and started drying I realized they weren’t right for this project.

While I wanted my son’s room to look sophisticated, I realized that this deep olive greenery was a little *too* sophisticated for a kid’s room. I felt like they belonged in a library with a bourbon collection and leather-bound books, not a child’s room.

I went back to the drawing board and started looking for olive green shades that didn’t look heavy and serious, but still had complexity.

I didn’t really think Benjamin Moore Louisbourg Green was what I was looking for, but when it hit the wall everything started to look dark, so I decided to give it a try.

The 37 Best Olive Green Paint Ideas For Your Home

I fell in love with Benjamin Moore Tate Olive after it was on the wall, but I still felt a little critical about it. I’m thinking of using it in another room of the house or even the kitchen island?! Who knows!

When I saw Benjamin Moore Louisbourg Green on the walls, I knew I had finally found the perfect olive green color for a kids’ room. There was an unexpected depth to it, but a softness that felt fun and playful. I love that it will “grow” with him in the years to come and that it doesn’t look too small like some nursery colors, you know?

When I finally made up my mind, we got to work. My father-in-law is a serious perfectionist, so when he came down for a visit I took advantage of it and got about 2/3 of the way up the wall in a perfect straight line. For white, we used a classic, Benjamin Moore Simply White.

When I finally removed the tape it was amazing. It turned out even better than I expected! We still have some finishing touches to the room, but I think we’re about 90% there. Sometime in the near future, we will convert her crib to a full-sized bed and I will finish decorating the room and go through the room. Now, I’m really happy with the color of the Louisbourg Green paint!
